Cartoonist Adam Ellis has been using Twitter to document a ghost that haunts his Manhattan apartment—a poltergeist named Dear David (a monicker told to him in a dream). Let’s suspend disbelief and ignore that this sounds like a great little title for a comic or animated series one might build hype up around using social media… and dive into the meticulously documented supernatural experience.
Ellis has been sharing illustrations, as well as surveillance footage. In this one, you’ll see the cat jump over something invisible, but you’ll also see that green jar move:

Sure, this could just be a little frapping (look it up) and string, but… actually yeah, it’s probably that.
