Observation was from rear deck of house, using a good pair of 7×50 binoculars. object first appeared as a dim light adjacent to the star vega (almost directly overhead) the object appeared to brighten significantly. then the object translated from what appeared to be a vertical descent to horizontal flight heading due north. when the first object translated to horizontal, it appeared there was a second (and brighter) object in trail. the second object followed the first into horizontal flight. the two objects continued travelling due north until they faded from view behind the trees. while both object were in view, they kept their exact spacing, in trail, not in "formation". unfortunately, i am not able to give a worthwhile estimate of altitude – they appeared as "bright lights", nothing more. i have seen something very similar several months ago, the same "flight pattern", same location, similar time of night. i do not know the significance of this.
