Five of us were camping overnight to observe the full totality of the eclipse on 8/21/17.We're were on private property,so we're not allowed fires, instead we were star gazing. one person in our camp saw an object moving west to south moving oddly and pointed it out to the group. this was after seeing several planes and satalites pass over. while we were watching it began to pulsate-one long flash followed by two shorter ones. this pulsating was much brighter than any observable star. we watched the object while it did this numerous times while moving sporadically both left and righ, until it eventually passed over the eastern horizon.
