Attending a fourth of july barbeque at my family and enjoying the local fireworks. my family call my attention to a orange orb in the sky around 9pm in the ozone park, howard beach neighborhood. it wasn't a helicopter nor a plane. it was an orange orb similar to one i had observed several years before in costa rica. it proceeded at a slow steady pace north east from jfk. by the way we were about two miles from jfk. planes look really large when they come in to land. there were several times we saw the orange orbs. then we were surprised to see a cluster of about six to eight of the orange orbs. similar to what i have seen on videos from mexico. i took videos from my phone but my hand was not steady and it makes the orbs look like they are jumping and zig-zag when in fact they weren't. however, they are moments when i had it steady. you can hear my family in the background debating what it is.
